A helicopter crashed on Sifnos in the Tholos area, near the island's heliport.
According to the Fire Department, the helicopter burst into flames after it fell and crashed.
The Fire Department's Operations Center was notified of the incident at approximately 6:17 p.m.
Two firefighters are on the scene with one vehicle, while a rescue team from Syros is en route aboard the Fire Department’s RAFNAR speedboat.
