The screenings continue in Karavas. The CinemaPortokalia in collaboration with the Olympia Film Festival shows five short films from different European countries. The films sensitively and boldly illuminate the way children think, resist and hope in the face of pressure, injustice or exclusion.
A little girl really wants to have a little dog. The girls of the Falcons live and breathe handball. Zofy is having a hard time adjusting to her new school. Chelar is upset by the climate crisis and alienation from nature, 10-year-old Gabriel loves to sing.
The young protagonists raise their eyes and their voices - with humour, sensitivity and power. Films that remind us that, often, the clearest voices are also the most youthful.
