The new administration of the New Democracy party in Kythira is in full swing, one month after the election of the new president and council in the internal party elections. According to reports, the party will reopen its offices on the island, specifically in the village of Ano Livadi.
As announced in the previous press release by DIMTO, new steps are being prepared for the party's future course on the island, with President Antonis Mavrommatis referring to a climate of enthusiasm after the first meeting of members on October 27.
It is interesting to note that the new beginning of DIMTO seems to be attended by members of the municipal faction of the main opposition «People First,» while the faction and circle of the New Democracy mayor, Efstratios Charhalakis, have so far been absent from any activity or participation.
At the opening of the organization's offices in the near future, it remains to be seen what the presence of officials from both the island and Piraeus will be, as well as which members of parliament from Piraeus A will attend the new beginning of New Democracy on the island.
