Thodoris Kolydas reports that the upcoming spell of bad weather, characterized mainly by rain, will affect the western and northern regions of Greece
New bad weather, with rain in several parts of the country, is expected in the coming days, according to the director of the National Meteorological Service, Theodoros Kolydas.
In a post on X (Twitter), Thodoris Kolydas notes that the low-pressure system currently affecting Western Europe is moving toward our region and will change the weather in our country over the coming days. He states that the western and northern regions of Greece will be affected by the approaching storm, which will be characterized mainly by rain.
«Rain is expected over the next few days, mainly in the west and north. When, in a week’s time, the low-pressure system over Western Europe (England and the Basque Country) “decides” to move further east, we’ll see more precipitation. However, it is still too early for reliable forecasts,» emphasizes EMY Director Theodoros Kolydas.
