The Sunday 14 April 2024 will be held the primary elections for the candidates for the SYRIZA Progressive Alliance for the European elections of 9 June 2024.
In Kythera the voting will take place at the Cultural Centre of Potamos from 10.00 in the morning until 8:00 in the afternoon.o evening.
In Kythera and throughout Attica, the crossing of up to 4 crosses is valid. 12 candidates will be elected from our Region.
All members of SYRIZA-PS, as well as friends of SYRIZA-PS who will come to the polling stations on April 14th and will take part in the primary election process by filling in the relevant form of a friend of SYRIZA-PS have the right to vote.
Procedure
This is an innovative procedure in which, for the first time in Greece, a member or friend of a party co-decides on a national ballot paper and chooses himself/herself who he/she wants to represent him/her in the European Parliament.
The voter who will vote in physical presence will be able to choose the candidate(s) of the Region to which the Polling Station to which he/she belongs.
