Read the press release about the Kickboxing Workshop held in Piraeus:
On Tuesday, the 2nd of the month, a Kickboxing Workshop was held at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus, under the auspices of the Directorate of Secondary Education and the Panhellenic Kickboxing Federation.
The following topics were presented at the workshop:
- The development of the sport in Greece to date
- Statistics and History of the Sport
- Olympic recognition
- Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games as the sport's first participation
- Kickboxing and children
- European Kickboxing Championship Piraeus 2024
- Presentation of the Championship Poster, Mascot, and T-shirt
The conference was honored by the presence of representatives from the Municipality of Piraeus, representatives of the General Secretariat for Sport, the Metropolis of Piraeus, and the Region of Piraeus. The presence of the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ms. Domna Michailidou, and our Olympic gold medalist Pyrros Dimas made a particular impression. The event was opened by the Director of Secondary Education of Piraeus, Mr. Dionysis Anastasopoulos, and closed by Mr. Antonis Mavrommatis, Wako Marketing Chairman and Head of WAKO and WAKO PRO for Greece.
The entire conference was moderated by Giorgos Kousakis, representative of the Piraeus Music School.
