The start - on Friday 24 September - of the payment procedure main and supplementary pensions for the month of October, is included among the payments planned by the e-EFKA and OAED for the week 20-24 September.
As stated in a statement by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, a total of about €568 million will be paid to 1,139,841 beneficiaries.
Specifically:
1. Payments will be made by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs to theatres and cinemas.
2. The following payments will be made via e-EFKA in the period 20-24 September, as part of the regular payments of the institution:
- 505 million euros will be paid on Friday 24 September for the payment of main and supplementary pensions to 1,075,000 beneficiaries from the former IKA - ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires in 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
- €11.8 million will be paid to 21 185 beneficiaries for cash benefits (maternity, pregnancy, sickness, accident and funeral expenses).
- €17 million will be paid to 580 beneficiaries following the adoption of one-off decisions.
- €399,651 will be paid to 2,609 insured beneficiaries to pay overdue health debts.
- €8,100 will be paid to 27 beneficiaries for supplementary pension inheritance benefits.
3. The following payments will be made by the OAED:
- €2 million will be paid to 31,000 beneficiaries for unemployment and other benefits.
- €20 million will be paid to 8,000 beneficiaries under subsidised employment schemes.
- €1 million will be paid to 1,300 mothers for subsidised maternity leave.
- €300,000 will be paid to 500 beneficiaries for public benefit programmes.
For the period 20-24 September there are no scheduled payments from the OPEC.
