With deep sadness, the Management Committee of the Karavas Patrician School issued a statement on the tragic loss of Cosmas, a young man who sealed the community of Karavas with his presence and dedication. The statement expresses not only the pain but also the determination to honor and preserve his memory through symbolic acts.
As highlighted in the statement, the loss of Kosmas was a shock for everyone, leaving behind terrible grief, anger and a void that will hardly be filled.

Dear friends,
We were all shocked, terribly saddened and angry by the loss of our Kosmas. A young man who had his whole future ahead of him and a useful member of the village community.
A good friend, efficient, a companion on the difficult path of the foundation.
A big, very big loss, for us and for all of us.
If we lose deserving young people in this way, we will be undeserving of the fate that will follow.
So we need to defuse the tension and calm things down and that is why we believe that there should be a resignation of the president of the Home and we should return to a calm rhythm of reflection, mourn our fellow countryman and organize from the beginning.
A tree should be planted in every corner of Karavas for collective memory.
