With the release of the tenth issue (NOSTSOS 10) of the Kytherian University Students Group took place on Monday 4 March 2024 the presentation of the magazine «NOSTOS» at the Cultural Centre of Kytheria of the Triphyllion Foundation.
Speaking at the presentation were:
- Koula Kasimati, Om. Professor at Panteion University of Panteion
- Stavroula Ktistaki, Professor at Panteion University and State Counselor
- George Leventis, Om. Professor of Law, University of Athens, Greece
- Alexis Savvidis, Om. Professor of Medieval & Byzantine History, University of Peloponnese.
The event was coordinated by the President of the Society of Kythera Studies Kaiti Aroni-Tsichli.
From 2002 to 2023, a total of 10 issues of the magazine have been published. The first issue was edited by the then President of the Group, Om. Professor Nikos Petrochilos, while for the next nine issues (2-10) the editing was undertaken by the Chairperson of the Institute, Professor Nikos Petrochilos. Professor Koula Kasimatis, who contributed greatly to the success of the publication. In the 10 issues of the journal NOSTOS a total of 90 original papers by 41 authors on topics related to Kythera were published.
NOSTOS is a publication that is a reference point, highlighting important issues of the wider history of Kythera.
