Σχέδιο νόμου για την ενίσχυση της εταιρικής αμυντικής συνεργασίας Ελλάδας-Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών, κατέθεσαν ο Αμερικανός Γερουσιαστής και Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής Εξωτερικών Υποθέσεων της Γερουσίας, Μπομπ Μενέντεζ και ο Ρεπουμπλικανός Γερουσιαστής, Μάρκο Ρούμπιο, στο οποίο προβλέπεται η άμεση παράδοση εξοπλισμών στη χώρα μας, στο πλαίσιο νέας defence agreement, αλλά και η άμεση προμήθεια της Ελλάδας με F-35, εφόσον υπάρξει σχετικό αίτημα.
