Successfully held on the Sunday, 30 March 2025, the Annual General Assembly of the Kytheraiki Brotherhood of Piraeus - Athens, confirming the vitality and the timeless value of this historical institution for the Kytheraic expatriate community of the Basin.
During the Assembly, which was held with increased participation of members, presented the administrative and financial report of the previous three years, while proposals were discussed and new actions were planned for the period 2025-2028.
At the heart of the event were also the elections for the election of the new Board of Directors, which was constituted as follows:
•President: Dimitrios Paris
•Vice President: Dimitrios Kalaitzakis
•Secretary General: Charalambos Petrochilos
•Treasurer: Nikolaos Faceas
•Special Secretary: Panagiotis Sotirchos
•Heads of the Dance Department: Andreas Lourantos and Charilena Vassi
• Head of Culture and Music Department: Calypso Michalakaki
• Head of the Women's Department and Curator: Artemis Papadimitriou
•Head of Youth Department: Eleftheria Masselu
The Brotherhood honored the κ. Dimitrios Kalaitzakis, declaring him Donor of the Association, recognizing its extremely significant financial contribution in 2024 and its steadfast support for its work. He was presented with an honorary plaque as a token of gratitude.
With excitement it was done and special reference to Mr Charalambos Sougiannis and Mr Nikolaos Glytsos, who resigned from the Board after 36 and 30 years of active service respectively. The Brotherhood honored their valuable and lasting contribution with honorary commendation.
The new Board of Directors warmly thanked all members for their trust and pledged to consistently continue the work of the Association, keeping alive the cultural identity and the unity of Kytheria Piraeus and Athens.
