A new round of severe weather phenomena is expected to hit large parts of the country today, Saturday (07/12).
The National Meteorological Service has updated the Emergency Weather Bulletin issued yesterday, warning citizens to be alert and take necessary precautions.
Specifically, heavy rain and thunderstorms accompanied by a high frequency of lightning and local hailstorms are forecast in some places for today:
α) In the Dodecanese from time to time until the afternoon.
b) On the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean from noon until the early hours of Sunday (08/12).
c) In the Ionian Sea until the afternoon.
d) In Epirus until noon.
e) In western Central Greece until the afternoon.
f) In the western Peloponnese from noon to evening.
g) In Macedonia (mainly in eastern Macedonia) from midday until the afternoon.
η) In Thrace from midday until the early hours of Sunday (08/12).
