The Olympiacos family was plunged into mourning on Friday (12/17) as Mimis Stefanakos, the legendary veteran of the «red-and-whites,» passed away at the age of 85.
The late player wore the Olympiacos jersey from 1958 to 1965, winning the league title twice, the Cup six times, and one Balkan Cup. In fact, he was the honorary president of the Olympiacos Veterans Association.

«The Olympiacos family bids farewell to the legendary Mimis Stefanakos, who passed away tonight at the age of 85.".
Mimis Stefanakos wore the red-and-white jersey for seven years (1958–1965), doing it justice.
During his career with Olympiacos, he won the Greek league title twice, the Greek Cup six times, and the Balkan Cup once, and he also played for the national team. He served as honorary president of the Olympiacos Veterans Association.
