Upgrade to the air transport of Kythira, recommends the adoption of the technical specifications for the designation contractors for the regular air route Thessaloniki - Kalamata - Kythera, in accordance with the decision of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Konstantinos Karamanlis.
The award of the right to operate the line to a contractor will be made through a competitive tender and will cover the period 2023-2027. The subsidy for this period will amount to €2,800,000, while the subsidy for the Athens - Kythera line for the same period, is 2.816.000€.
The decision was welcomed by Mayor of Kythira, Efstratios Charhalakis, with a post on social media.
