Kyriakos Mitsotakis uploaded a new video on Tik Tok, this time about the new way of selecting the administrations of hospitals and other public institutions that the government is establishing.
The Prime Minister says that «specific filters are now being introduced for the selection of new governors: The so-called on/off criteria so that in order to apply and become a hospital administrator, one must have some connection to the subject. Either they have to have studied health sciences or have some administrative experience.».
Mitsotakis notes that for those who pass this stage there will be a skills test which is widely used in the private sector.
«From then on, the interview will follow and then the selection by the minister,» the prime minister noted, adding:
«This process is important because for the first time we will give opportunities to many young people who in the past have not had access to this system of selecting administrations to be evaluated according to objective criteria.».
The prime minister also stresses that hospital administrators will sign performance contracts, meaning they can either get a bonus if they do well or be removed from their position by the minister if they fail.
«This is a big revolution that we are going to launch on how to select administrations. It is a big bet that we can win,» Mitsotakis stresses.
