The seismic sequence continues for another 24 hours in the Cyclades, causing concern among the inhabitants of Santorini, of Amorgos and the rest of the islands due to the frequent earthquakes of intensity from 3 to 4.5 Richter that have occurred in recent days.
At 04:46 at dawn on Tuesday another strong earthquake of magnitude 4.9 Richter in the maritime area where in recent days there has been an increase in seismic activity.

Schools closed today
On the islands with strong seismic activity, Santorini, Anafi, Ios and Amorgos, schools will remain closed until Friday 7 February
Also, by decisions of the relevant Municipalities, the operation of schools of all levels was suspended for Tuesday, February 4, in Syros, Tinos, Andros, Sifnos, Paros, Antiparos, Naxos, Schinoussa, Koufonissi, Herakleia, Donousa.
