Today 3,038 new cases of the new virus were reported in the country, of which 11 were detected following checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 69,675, of which 54.1% are males.
4,601 (6.6%) are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 18,334 (26.3%) are associated with an already known case.
336 of our fellow citizens are hospitalized. Their median age is 65 years old. 100 (29.8%) are women and the rest are men. 81.8% of the intubated have an underlying disease or are aged 70 years and older. 362 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
Finally, we have 38 more recorded deaths and 997 deaths in total in the country, 399 (40%) female and the rest male. The median age of our deceased citizens was 80 years and 96.9% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and above.
