The EODY announced today 1,044 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 9 were detected following checks at the country's entry points. The total number of cases is 105,271, of which 53% are men.
4,888 (4.6%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 28,075 (26.7%) are related to a known case.
600 of our fellow citizens are intubated. Their median age is 65. Of these, 161 (26.81%) are women and the rest are men. 75.81% of those on ventilators have underlying conditions or are aged 70 or over. 581 patients have been discharged from intensive care units.
Finally, we have 85 more recorded deaths and 2,406 deaths in total in the country, 978 (40.61%) women and the rest men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 80 years, and 96.61% had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 years or older.
