The tragedy in Kalavryta is immense. Shortly before 4 p.m., the three missing climbers were found dead by rescue teams who rushed to the scene.
As the deputy chief of the fire department told SKAI, objects, a helmet, and a jacket were found earlier, which led the EMAK men to the spot. The object was spotted by a helicopter operating in the area. Two of the three unfortunate men were eventually found near the spot where the helmet was located.
Following previous reports, a third man was found unconscious in the area of «Ydata Stygos» near the Kalavryta ski center. The operation to transport all three men by the Fire Department and the OED is underway.

Using vehicles belonging to the Kalavryta Ski Center, the Center's staff began searching for them and notified the police. Firefighters from Kalavryta rushed to the scene, while 22 more firefighters from the 6th EMAK mountain rescue team from Patras, a special tracked vehicle, a team of unmanned aerial vehicle operators, and a helicopter from the Joint Search and Rescue Coordination Center.
