Showers and thunderstorms are expected on Saturday which will gradually decrease until the afternoon mainly in the northeastern mainland, the Peloponnese and the Aegean and until the evening in Thrace and the eastern Aegean.
Especially in Attica on Saturday, clouds are expected with the possibility of light local rain until the afternoon. Winds will blow from southwestern directions 2 to 4 Beaufort but from noon will shift to northwestern up to 3 Beaufort. The temperature in the center of Athens will range from 16 to 21 degrees Celsius.
In Thessaloniki, clouds are expected with the possibility of light local rain until noon. Winds will blow from northwestern directions from 2 to 4 Beaufort. The temperature in the city centre will range from 10 to 16 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in Western Macedonia will range from 4 to 13 degrees Celsius, in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace from 10 to 18, in Thessaly from 9 to 19, in Epirus from 9 to 21, in Sterea from 12 to 21, in Peloponnese from 11 to 22, in the Ionian islands from 13 to 19, in the North Aegean islands from 14 to 19, in the East Aegean islands from 14 to 21, in the Cyclades from 15 to 22, in the Dodecanese from 15 to 22 and in Crete from 15 to 23 degrees Celsius. It is noted that outside the northern continental areas, the minimum temperature is expected towards the end of the twenty-four hours.
Winds in the Central and North Aegean will initially blow from southerly directions from 4 to 6 Beaufort but from the afternoon they will gradually shift to northwest winds of the same intensity. An exception is Thermaikos where winds will blow from northwestern directions 3 to 5 and from the afternoon 4 to 6 Beaufort. In the Ionian Sea the winds will blow from the northwest 4 to 6 Beaufort and from midday 3 to 5 Beaufort.
