Her first electric limousine is expected to be presented in 2022 by the Audi. In fact, it will not be a replacement for the luxurious A8 but for the smaller A6. Which will of course have conventional versions with electric assist.
A first approximation of its appearance, is the original Audi A6 e-tron Concept which was unveiled a few months ago in Shanghai and its exhibition with an impressively proportioned Sportback. In fact, rumour has it that the production model will be slightly different from this one.
It is also most likely that the new A6 e-tron together with the electric Porsche Macan, will be the first VW Group models to use the new PPE chassis (Premium Platform Electric).
This means that will have a battery of up to 100 kWh and will ensure 700 km autonomy, and will be capable of charging up to 270 kW. This means in practice that with a charge of just 10 minutes, provided that a charger of this power is available, the Audi A6 e-tron will be able to cover up to 300 kilometres. An impressive price if nothing else.
