With reverence and emotion, the sacred icon of the Virgin Mary was carried from Karavas to Ammo Kythira Square as part of the established «Tour» tradition.
A large number of residents of all ages participated in the procession, walking reverently through the streets of the community. Stops were made at significant locations, with particular emotion at the spot where the community leader Karava, Kosmas Tzortzopoulos, breathed his last in December 2024.
The procession ended in an atmosphere of unity and spiritual uplift, with the blessing of the Virgin Mary accompanying all the residents and visitors of Karava.
