The whole of Greece is a natural jewel on earth. With countless wonderful places, islands and lacy beaches. One does not really know what to first choose to visit and spend a holiday in. It has now become clear that the tourism industry is in first place. Every place, in recent years, has been trying to showcase something different to become the special attraction for visitors. Every year we are impressed by the initiative and its implementation by local communities. Visions that are carried out with love and bring extremely high visitor numbers.

Here is an idea that will make Kythera one of the most attractive destinations worldwide. The reason is a natural peculiarity of the island that if properly exploited, the island of Kythera will become a «must» destination for quality tourism.

Avlemonas offers the unexpectedly beautiful bay that Italian visitors call «piscina verde». All the beauty of Avlemonas, I could say of the whole island, is concentrated in this bay. The idea is to use it when it gets dark.

To make a lighting of the bay based on an architectural design and a highly professional approach. To be able to swim at night in its illuminated waters or enjoy the evening beauty while having a drink or in any other way inspired.

There are places that have focused their tourism development on the lighting of their place. A well-known example is the city of Budapest.

I have the accommodation available Margiana in the Alemon. Our building has a traditional form that has been «milliphotographed». From a personal experience and statistics I have noticed that it is most photographed at night as there is a wonderful and attractive lighting.
