Extension of the fire prevention period in Kythira!

The Peloponnese Regional Fire Department informed the Municipality of Kythira, following a written recommendation from the Commander of the Laconia Fire Department, that it has given a positive opinion on the extension of the time limit «for the use of fire in forest, agricultural, and building land on the island of Kythira.».

The extension will be in effect from November 1, 2022, until November 15, 2022.

1. In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 19 of the above (a) and after taking into account the (b) written recommendation of the Director of the Laconia Fire Department, we hereby submit the attached document, giving a positive opinion on the extension of the time limits set for the use of fire in forest, agricultural, and building land on the island of Kythira, from 01-11-2022 to 15-11-2022.
2. This document shall be posted in accordance with Circular 54 A/A.P.S. and sent by email to the recipient to whom it is to be communicated.
