Late last night, unknown individuals attacked the Agios Ioannis metro station and caused damage.
Specifically, according to the Hellenic Police, approximately 15 individuals, whose faces were covered, broke into the station shortly before 10 p.m. and used hammers to smash five ticket machines, six glass display cases, and an ATM machine.
Immediately afterwards, the perpetrators fled.
The Hellenic Police, which collects material from security cameras, is conducting investigations to locate and arrest the perpetrators.
