No exact date for payment has yet been set an allowance of EUR 534 to those workers who were suspended for the month of March. In the next few days, a new update will take place, with the preferred dates for payment of the amount being Friday, 09/04 or Monday, 12/04.
It is noted that, since Thursday 1 April 2021, the Information System «ERGANI» for the submission of declarations of parole the contracts Labour employees for the month April. Specifically:
- Until Friday 9/4/2021, declarations for the suspension of employment contracts can be submitted, which can concern either the whole month of April or part of it.
- As of 10/4/2021, businesses - employers will be able to announce suspensions of employee employment contracts, without having the possibility to change the declarations for the period from 1/4/2021 to 9/4/2021.
Payments of €97 million from OAED and EFKA by 9 April
The ministry announced that from OAED and e-EFKA Payments to beneficiaries totalling €97 million will be made from 5 to 9 April. In particular:
From the e-EFKA the following payments will be made in the period 5 - 9 April:
- €11.1 million will be paid to 530 beneficiaries following the adoption of one-off decisions.
- €10.3 million will be paid to 16,448 beneficiaries for cash benefits (Maternity, Sickness, Accident and Funeral allowances)
- Finally, €6,300 will be paid to 16 beneficiaries for supplementary pension inheritance benefits.
From the OAED the following payments will be made during the period 5 - 9 April:
- €40 million to 32,000 beneficiaries under subsidised employment programmes
- €35 million to 83,000 beneficiaries for unemployment and other benefits
- €500,000 to 980 mothers for subsidised maternity leave.
