New song on his Youtube channel uploaded by our beloved compatriot George Kasimatis. «A Santa Claus», from his second collection entitled «The Oath».
George writes for the song:
«This song carries a weight equivalent to “Train” for me. And just as then, I was quite ambivalent about whether to publish it or keep it to myself. Those who know me personally will understand why... But, as in life, so in creation, one should not pursue the easy and convenient, but rather expose, persevere and conquer especially those things that cause insecurity or fear. I won't go into the process of talking about the themes of the song. After all, art is an experience. And in experience there is no room for instructions for use. So everyone is free to interpret it as they wish. But I urge those who listen to it to let their thinking go beyond the boundaries of the “obvious”.».
The lyrics below:
A Santa Claus
The house is soundless
And the chair empty
And Vasilis is nowhere to be found
Did he miss seeing
East the eye
Fresh air to taste
the dry mouth
Or the ears the deceitful ears
who were chilled by the soundless
in the café they're looking for
hot gossip
A silent time has passed
And the chair empty
And Vasilis is nowhere to be found
Like a brick the memory bursts
on the glass of the present
In carelessness in slumber
Prayer in pain
And on the altar of loss
daughter who is awake
On a black background he stood
to be an immaterial body
Sound is my world
Why is the seat empty
And Vasilis is nowhere to be found
But the drought brings rain
The Pournari Fire
And the dull night
colorful dawn
And the bitterness of this memory
sweet incision in time
a Santa Claus who is nowhere to be found
to come and find me

He was born on 29 December 1998 in Athens, where he has been living for half of the year. The other half is in his place of origin, the beautiful and mysterious Kythera.
His involvement with music began at a very young age. At the age of 14 he received his degree in modern percussion, with Alberto Panagiotopoulos as his teacher. For two years, in addition to drumming, he also took lessons in classical piano and acoustic guitar. It was then that he started writing his first songs.
