We are not only at a general historical turning point, as all the powerful of the modern world declare, and the country «Greece», with all that it has suffered and what is happening, seems to be passing into another qualitative state - the basic characteristic of which is the annulment of its very existence in what constitutes it as a country (territory, cohesion, sovereignty, etc.) through the economic shackles of the memoranda, the demographic issue, the greying of regions and islands of the Aegean, the special status under the pretext of pandemic, and the military agreements that perpetuate presence and dependence on major powers and Euro-Atlantic commitments..
He was officially christened as country «guinea pig» and, from the shock treatments of the Memoranda and the governors from Hilton, entered the geopolitical realignment with the unprecedented but real Turkish encroachments and claims, the US imposition of the Prespa agreement, the great wave of refugees on the islands and throughout the country. Familiar, one might say, all this. Yes, but we will persist, because certain quantitative data lead to qualitative changes that may not be visible at first glance.
Shock treatment and geopolitical agenda together
The combination of these two factors, initially led to a loss of about 25% of GDP and the mortgaging of all national wealth to the creditors. Then, the gradual «filetization» of the country began: airports to a German company, the port of Piraeus to the Chinese Cosco, railways to the Italians for a plate of lentils, we did not see and did not know anything about «maritime borders», the settlement of refugees and permanent structures (under international administration and the impunity of various NGOs) on the islands (which are now claimed openly and without fences by the Turks). Even the Pope visited camps together with Tsipras.
And so much more, such as the order for the modernization of the F16 under SYRIZA and close contacts with Pyatt, who was becoming the general prefect of the «province» of Greece, which belongs to the Western Empire. But now there is more going on, which cannot be considered simply as... a continuation of the state or of the same course, because it creates other qualities, more dangerous and unfavourable for the existence of the country and the cohesion of society.
Semitic essence and orchestra conducting under Mitsotakis: the emergence of an extremely neo-colonial space
Traditional right-wingers have every reason to wonder what has happened to their party. By internal overthrow by Semitism (another part of it has infiltrated SYRIZA) and with Mitsotakis as prime minister, some qualitative transformations are proceeding very quickly:
► It changes the official doctrine on the dispute (continental shelf) with Turkey. Now we talk about «differences» in plural, we are «coolly» watching the escalation of Ankara's expansionist actions against our sovereign rights, we insist on «exploratory» ones, and everything seems to be preparing the ground for an agreement, roughly in the spirit of the Prespa model - where the partition of the Aegean will be the «best solution» and will receive the praise of the great powers.
► The agreement with France does not guarantee us in such cases, since in it reference is made to the term «territory», which refers only to the 6 miles - as Mr. Gerapetritis, a minister and close associate of Mitsotakis, so «scientifically» opined.
► Mitsotakis himself, and even from the floor of the UN General Assembly, stressed that Greece is not interested in possible oil and gas deposits within its territorial waters and the EEZ it has with Italy, Egypt etc., because these are... old materials of old technologies, while we are now looking forward to Green Growth! Attention: never before has there been such an open, public denial of sovereign rights over mineral and natural wealth, at a time when major battles are being waged precisely for the exploitation of reserves throughout the Mediterranean and strategies are being developed for pipelines and the circulation of hydrocarbons. This official position of the Prime Minister is like a declaration that «the Aegean (and the other seas surrounding the country) belongs to its fish» and to anyone who wants to exploit and dig the seabed.
► Progressing at an astonishing speed de-lignification. They are closing plants in Northern Greece, while Germany and Poland are achieving huge exemptions from fossilization, until 2038 and 2050 respectively! We, as the first students (apologists and lickspittles together), are closing them, because Green Growth must be promoted - again, to the benefit of the Germans.
► Piraeus is transformed into a large colonial zone of the Chinese Cosco.
► PPP is sold to Australian groups and PPC loses its public character for good, becoming the north of private interests. Electricity prices are skyrocketing, after a party was set up with the PPC stock to benefit the «informed»...
► Finally, a new agreement to expand «old» US bases and to grant land for new bases (for a period of five years, until it becomes indefinite) is announced without shame.
The contemporary social issue and the «less Greece»
But all this degradation of the country and its transformation into some kind of modern Mediterranean Banana, i.e. its new colonisation, which is taking place with the loss of many degrees of sovereignty but also of territorial and then population status in Greece and Cyprus (not to forget), has a social side. The modern social issue: great impoverishment that is silenced by the media, destruction of professions and economic activity due to pandemic or major fires, subsidising and destroying any notion of a tenant relationship that existed, redundancies (8,500 in one day alone in hospitals), complete impunity of the big groups in the country, repression and intimidation of workers, dismantling of the public character of health and education, the creation of an institutional framework that allows - in the name of the pandemic - to create a special (dictatorial) regime of unfreedom, lies, repression, persecution, fines. Injecting injections of divisiveness, racism and hatred towards the unvaccinated today, ghettoizing wide swathes of poor neighborhoods across the country.
Only in Tinos, these days, a pogrom has been unleashed against residents who oppose the installation of wind turbines., and the repression looked like the model of Macron against the Yellow Vests: injuries, fractures, brutal treatment of citizens, and of course silence from the media... Ordered silence for these corners of the country (Tinos, V. Evia, Ptolemaida, fire and earthquake affected areas like now Arkalochori, etc.), where the green development of the elites involved in renewable energy (for the good of the planet...) is flourishing, while at the same time we are advertised islands and areas «adopted» by car manufacturers to promote electromobility... We said: Banana Mediterranean.
In last week's note, there were three long and shameful silences. We need to add a fourth, the biggest and most important: the production of «less Greece», while celebrating «Operation Freedom» (about vaccinations and pandemics) and the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution. Perhaps we should now turn our gaze to 1922, and what happened more or less in those years of reforestation and border demarcation in the region. Because such a question has been raised again. Really, how come the left-wing globalists don't see it? The national and social question for them are obsolete things. Only self-definition might have some importance, individually of course, because there is no room (or country) for grand identities and narratives! Just as there is no room for the voices of patriotic supporters. As if they don't have time or can't connect international developments, economy and geopolitics, national issues and social issues, and so they are left behind...
Conclusion: to break and break through the silences!
