Riots are currently taking place near the city hall of Thessaloniki, where earlier the anti-vaccinationists had arrived, attempting to approach Velideio. People from the rally launched Molotov cocktails with the police responding with tear gas, flash bangs, while the ELAS aura is also operating.
With the streets around the perimeter of the Thessaloniki International Fair being impassable, the rallies for the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair began shortly after 17:00 in different parts of the city.
Marches are currently underway in the city centre. The total number of participants, according to the police, is about 15,000.
