The total number of cases stands at 1,031,239 (daily change +0.4%), of which 50.5% are men. Based on confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 207 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 3,409 are related to a known case. There have been 63 new deaths among COVID-19 patients, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the epidemic to 19,799. 95.31% had underlying conditions and/or were aged 70 or over.
The number of patients receiving invasive mechanical ventilation is 684 (59.61% men). Their median age is 64 years. 81.31% have underlying disease and/or are aged 70 years or older. Among the patients receiving invasive mechanical ventilation, 561 (82.02%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and 123 (17.98%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,661 patients have been discharged from ICUs. There are 332 new Covid-19 patients admitted to hospitals in the country (daily change +4.08%). The seven-day average of admissions is 352 patients. The median age of cases is 38 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
