The new laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in the last 24 hours are 2,535, of which 11 were detected following checks at the country's entry gates. The total number of cases is 235,611 (daily change +1.1%), of which 51.6% are males.
Based on the confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 67 are considered to be associated with travel from abroad and 2,362 are associated with an already known case.
There have been 60 new deaths of COVID-19 patients, with a total of 7,421 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.8% had underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older.
The number of hospitalized intubated patients is 672 (66.7% men). Their median age is 68 years. 82.0% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years or older. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,572 patients have been discharged from ICUs. The admissions of new Covid-19 patients to hospitals in the territory are 513 (daily change +1.18%). The seven-day average admission rate is 469 patients.
