The total number of victims of the pandemic in our country is approaching 25,000.
There have been 16,442 new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease recorded in the last 24 hours, 64 of which were detected during checks at the country's entry points.
The total number of cases is 2,163,240 (daily change +0.8%), of which 49.7% are men. Based on confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 390 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 2,658 are related to a known case.
There have been 66 new deaths among COVID-19 patients, with a total of 24,679 deaths recorded since the start of the epidemic. 95.21% had underlying conditions and/or were aged 70 or over.
The number of patients receiving intubation is 507 (62.31% men). Their median age is 66 years. 84.41% have underlying disease and/or are aged 70 years or older.
Among patients receiving invasive care, 386 (76.13%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and 121 (23.87%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,138 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
There were 358 new Covid-19 patients admitted to hospitals across the country (daily change -9,37%). The average number of admissions over the seven-day period is 411 patients. The median age of cases is 35 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of deaths is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
