Lawyer Theodoros Mandas noted that despite the gap in the legal framework regarding the punishment of parents, which will be closed immediately with a legislative regulation, local prosecutors can take initiatives in these cases and initiate the relevant procedures for taking measures, which may even include removing custody of the child from the parents.
The show's host revealed that within the week, the Ministry of Justice will intervene, imposing prison sentences of up to three years on parents who do not send their children to school.
