The Board of Directors of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece re-elected the Mayor of Kythira, Efstratios Charhalakis, as President of the Committee on Islands and Cohesion Policy for the new municipal term. Read what our Mayor wrote about it:
«I would like to warmly thank the President of KEDE, Lazaros Kyrizoglou, and all the members of the Board of Directors who, with their unanimous decision today, re-elected me as President of the Committee on Islands and Cohesion Policy for the new municipal term, giving a positive assessment of the work and policy-making we did in the previous – admittedly difficult – term. Together with the new Vice-President, Mayor of Ag. Efstratios Konstantinos Sinani, and the members of the Committee, we are committed to continuing to promote policies and solutions for the sensitive island region, which deserves greater attention and care.
