The frontal conflict between the teachers and the Ministry of Education will continue unabated in the coming days.
Following the Court's decision on Thursday, which ruled that the strike-absence from the evaluation process was illegal, the Teachers' Federation is immediately appealing the decision to the Court of Appeal.
Most likely the appeal will be filed on Monday. IOC sources said that until then the strike-absence would continue as normal and that until the case is finalised the mobilisation is perfectly legal.
It is also likely (and will be sought) to support mobilisation and the ADEDY which will meet on Monday.

Meanwhile the OLME, after a marathon meeting on Friday, also decided to file an appeal and to continue the walkout, which could go as far as a full 24-hour strike in the next few days if the Ministry does not change its stance.
It is also planning, together with the other educational federations, to organise a nationwide rally.
Teachers of all levels consider the evaluation process as defined by the Kerameos Law as punitive and have decided for many days now to go on strike, in which there is a very large participation.
Η Niki Kerameos filed a lawsuit on Thursday against the IOE, the OLME and the OIELE and on Thursday night the court (single-member) ruled that the mobilisation is illegal.
