Three and four times have submitted tax and insurance information thousands of small and micro businesses affected by last year's lockdown to receive aid from the NSRF of the Region of Attica but also other, more specific programmes.
These are aids approved by the state agencies. Some people got ahead of the game and got the aid in July. Applications and submission of dozens of documents had begun last fall. The aid was for 50% of operating expenses (based on 2019 sales).

So even for the amounts that were disbursed, it was mainly Mr Staikouras' budget that benefited. Only from the NSRF of the Regions for SMEs, more than 200 million euros flowed into the state coffers. And certainly not because the economy is doing well...
Now, to cope with the problems of 2020, thousands of businesses and self-employed people are still waiting for the slippery aid while it ends in 2021.
