The municipality of Rethymno, in collaboration with pharmacist Manolis Stefanakis and featuring Ms. Maria from the village of Pigi in Rethymno, created an amazing public service announcement, to encourage residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Manolis Stefanakis told ERT and the show “Connections” that humor can break down the barriers of fear very easily.
“Every day, many people come to the pharmacy and confide in us about a problem they’re afraid of. Now, with the vaccine, many people are afraid. We talk it over with them, explaining things with humor and a positive attitude. The vaccine is the only weapon we have against what’s happening to us right now.” he said.
