To address the fire protection needs of the Commission decided to hire five (5) fire safety workers, with a fixed-term contract of up to four (4) months, for the guarding of forests, woodlands, and in particular for fire protection actions and fires in the wider area of the Myrtidia Sanctuary, in the wider area of the Cave of Agia Sophia Mylopotamos, in Agios Ioannis en kremno, and in the pine forest area of Camping Kapsali, during the fire season.
