Under control, in the early afternoon hours, the great fire in the Ammouches, north of Frigianikon. In the area operate units of the Fire Department by the local team Kythira, as well as volunteers, while the efforts, assisted from the air and two Canadair. The fire is confined to a small fireplace and is burning bushy vegetation.
Bear in mind, that this is one of the two fires which occurred in Kythera on Thursday morning, 04/11. The first one, which occurred in the area of Fractions, extinguished earlier in the day.
