The sailing coach spoke to Live News with Nikos Evaggelatos and among other things claimed that he had a relationship with the 11-year-old child. He even said that he loves her and still wants to marry her today!

First, he said that he did not rape the 11-year-old girl, but had a sexual relationship with her, and said that they had sexual intercourse at her will.
At the same time, he said that «I had and still have feelings for the girl. I also broke up my then affair to be with her. I love her.» He even claimed that he still wants to be with the athlete, who is now a minor.
Furthermore, the coach stated bluntly that he never considered the age difference to be serious and especially the fact that the girl was a minor.
