The regulations for the sport have been renewed by the GGA since Saturday. Everything that applies to road races

Usually, the General Secretariat for Sport renews the regulations in force until the pandemic measures are stopped, every Monday. This time the renewal was made last Saturday, and what is mentioned will be valid until Monday 28 February 2022, 6:00 a.m..

The changes compared to what was in place are insignificant, and anyone who wants to study what is in place can do so here : “Clarifying Instructions of the General Secretariat of Sports for sport in the whole of the Territory, under the regime of special restrictive measures to deal with pandemic COVID 19 (19/02/2022) “.

Below are the most important parts of the text.

6) Sports held in the open air or in open spaces, and outside organized sports facilities, such as: mountaineering, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, mountain biking, road cycling, mountain skiing, mountain biking, marching, cross-country running, etc., based on the following conditions:

  • Training groups should not exceed 15 people, keeping a distance of at least 2 meters between athletes/athletes.
  • The presence of a coach is not compulsory but if present he/she can coach up to 15 athletes/athletes.

8) Off-stage events: It is permitted to hold mass sport events outside stadiums (outside organised sports facilities), without limitation on the number of participants, subject to the following basic conditions:

  • With at least 95% vaccinated or sick with a valid certificate, and up to 5% unvaccinated participants.
  • Unvaccinated adult participants (18 years and older): PCR within 72 hours or rapid test within 48 hours.
  • Unvaccinated underage participants (under 18 years old): self test within 24 hours before the race (recommended on the day of the race).
  • Use a mask until the start and again after the finish.
  • Online registration in advance - no meetings at a secretariat.
  • Award ceremonies are not allowed.
    • At the start and finish of the route, crowd avoidance measures with provisions for a continuous flow of participants.

A prerequisite for their conduct (in addition to the required permits from the competent authorities) is the submission of a health protocol for the organization to the Health Scientific Committee of the General Secretariat of Health for approval.

Specific specifications for the drafting of the protocols of the events will be posted by the DGG, which should be taken into account by the organisers.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

The use of a mask is mandatory in both indoor and outdoor areas. Athletes/athletes during exercise are exempted from wearing a mask. In mental sports (chess, bridge) the use of a mask is compulsory in training and competitions, except for vaccinated athletes in open areas.
