The «miserable» Roma and the «Iaveri» of Kleitos and Portosalte

The wretched of this world and the tyrants who persecute them

Who would dare today to characterize Victor Hugo as a supporter of lawbreakers, an instigator of anarchy, and a man who undermines order and security? And yet Les Misérables was based on the ruling class's obsession with punishing those uneducated people who stole a loaf of bread. Yes, Mrs. Kleitou, Yannis Agiannis stuck to the loaf of bread; he did not become a common murderer.

«The moral and the moral of this story is that anyone who steals for little at 16, at 20 may kill for less,» said Lina Kleitou with a tone that even the most descriptive paragraph by the French author about the obsessive Iaveri would envy.

I don't know if we can say the same about Mrs. Kleitou. All I can advise her is to read Les Misérables, and if Hugo is a bit heavy for her conservative sensibilities, she can just read the back cover of the book.

The «miserable» Roma are the people

«Les Misérables” was written for all nations. I don't know if everyone will read it, but I wrote it for everyone. (...) Wherever people live uneducated and desperate, wherever women sell their bodies for a morsel of bread, wherever children suffer from illiteracy and lack of education, the book Les Misérables knocks on the door, shouting loudly: ”Open up! I'm coming for you!’ said Victor Hugo himself.

And don't tell me, ma'am Closed that with this phrase he is not describing the uneducated, unruly, monstrous (in your words) Roma. It is clearly those «wretched» people.

«In the dark place where today's culture finds itself (tragic irony of time), the wretched are called HUMAN BEINGS, who suffer under all climates and regimes, who groan in all languages,’ continued Victor Hugo.

Here, let us remind all the Kleitos of the world that Roma They may have their own customs and traditions, they may indeed be more prone to delinquency—something that is not due to their skin color or their generation, but to social exclusion and marginalization—yet they are Greek citizens, just like all of us.

«Revolutions are stopped in their tracks by the bourgeoisie, who embody satisfied interests. Yesterday's appetite becomes today's abundance and tomorrow's satiety!» And this, Hugo «moustaches,» as the incomparable Nikos Stavridis said in the film «The Yellow Gloves.».

Portosalte and the frappe makers of the DIAS team

«What do we want the DI.AS. for? To sit around drinking frappés? If we want it to do its job, let it do its job,» said the outspoken Aris Portosalte once again. Since we are in a literary mood and so as not to stray too far from Paris, the journalist seems to be possessed by a word, Greek to the core, which Hugo discovered in a dark corner of Notre Dame.

«A few years ago, during his visit to Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, the author of this book found this word carved by hand on the wall in a dark corner of one of the towers: Need,» wrote the French author. He wondered which «sorrowful soul could not leave this world without leaving its criminal or morbid mark at the entrance of the old church» and wrote the word «need» in Greek at that time.

Americans have a slang term for someone who is «needy.» So, our dear journalist is driven by the «need» to say something that will make him go viral on the internet. Even if it's the biggest nonsense in the world. It's enough that everyone will be talking about what Aris said this morning.

However, as Ungar indignantly remarks about the vandal of Notre Dame Cathedral, the inspiration behind the «need» «will have faded into oblivion years before he himself encounters his desperate endeavor, his need to resist oblivion.».
