On Sunday 28 November, the annual memorial service for benefactors, donors and Antikytherians everywhere was held at the holy church of Panagia Myrtidotissa in N.Faliro, in the presence of His Eminence Metropolitan Seraphim of Kythera & Antikythera.
The memorial service was attended by the Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy Mr. Konstantinos Katsafados, the Vice-Regional Head of the Islands Ms. Vasiliki Theodorakopoulou - Bogri, the MPs of Piraeus & Islands Mr. Ioannis Melas and Nikolaos Manolakos, the former Vice-Regional Governor of the Islands and current Regional Councillor Mr Panagiotis Hatziperos, the President of the Kytheraiki Brotherhood Mr Vrettos Kypriotis and the Constitutionalist Mr Georgios Kasimatis.
The Antikythera Association warmly thanked all those who honored with their presence the memorial service as well as the funeral home of Mr. John Salomoga.
