Ukrainian forces defending Zolote and Hirske are in danger of being surrounded by Russian troops, according to Ukrainian generals.
«In the direction of Toskivka - Pidlishne, the enemy captured the settlements of Pidlishne and Mirna Dolina,» the Ukrainian General Staff said on Facebook. Russian forces also advanced near Khirsk, according to the same source.
Russian territorial gains cut off the northern road link between the Ukrainian military defending Zolote and Khirsk and Ukrainian units in Lysychansk.
