A special historical projection is organized by the Kythera Party Organization (K.O.) of the KKE next Friday, bringing to light an unknown aspect of the period 1941-1945.
The film entitled «Disciplinary Division 999» deals with the history of the German antifascists who found themselves in Greece during the Occupation. It is a study that highlights the actions and attitudes of German soldiers who opposed the Hitler regime, in many cases collaborating with the Greek resistance.
The event will take place on Friday 27 March 2026 on 19:00 in Spiritual Centre of Potamos.
The Kytherian filmmaker will be present at the screening George Didymiotis, who is one of the cast members of the film.
The invitation is open to all residents and friends of the island who wish to experience this important historical period through the cinematic lens.
