Payments from the Ministry of Labour, eEFKA, OAED until 28 January

Payments of over €2.1 billion to over 4 million beneficiaries will be made by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the e-EFKA and OAED, in the week of 24-28 January, during which, among other things, the following will be paid main and supplementary pensions in February, as well as the financial support of those workers who were included in the Mechanism «COOPERATION» for the month of December.

Specifically:

1. The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs will make the following payments on Thursday 27 January:

α. Co-operation mechanism

- Financial support for short-term work for the month of December 2021: an amount of 6,769,007 euros for 28,744 beneficiaries.

- Proportion of holiday allowance: €3,104,692 for 64,060 beneficiaries.

β. Special purpose compensation for suspensions of employment contracts of workers in fire-affected areas (North Evia): EUR 59 880 for 119 beneficiaries.

γ. Compensation for special purpose artists (balances for the year 2021): an amount of EUR 26.214 for 50 beneficiaries.

1. The following payments will be made through e-EFKA, as part of the regular payments of the institution:

Regarding the payment of main and supplementary pensions in February:

- On Tuesday 25 January, €514.9 million will be paid out to 1,093,289 pensioners from the former IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA ends in 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.

- On Wednesday 26 January, approximately €515.5 million will be paid to 1,094,576 pensioners from the former IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE whose AMKA ends in 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.

- On Thursday 27 January, around €456 million will be paid to 824,301 pensioners from the former OAEE, OGA and EBRD.

- On Friday 28 January, approximately €538 million will be paid to 907,303 pensioners of the State and the former NAT, the former ETAT, the former ETAP-MME and PPC. On the same day (Friday 28/11), €11 million will also be paid to 27,000 beneficiaries for advance payments of February pensions on the basis of Law 4778/2021.

As regards other regular payments:

-€20.6 million will be paid to 630 beneficiaries following the adoption of one-off decisions. Finally, €170,000 will be paid to 450 insured persons for overdue health benefits in the context of the extraordinary payments of the e-EFKA.

1. The following payments will be made by the OAED:

- €22 million to 59,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment and other benefits.

- €18 million will be paid to 5,500 beneficiaries under subsidised employment schemes.

- €6 million will be paid to 10,500 mothers for subsidised maternity leave.

- €1 million will be paid to 2,000 beneficiaries under public benefit schemes.
