The impressive floats of the Municipality of Patreon have already taken their place at the starting point of the parade, on Corinth Street, at the height of Gounari, attracting the attention and causing photographic chaos from the attendees.
Along with them, the floats of the carnival crews promise a spectacle full of surprises and liveliness, making the continuation of the parade in the streets of the city seem already unforgettable.
The parade began with the floats that were created in the carnival workshop of the municipality of Patreon.
After the end of the parade will be held at 9:00 in the evening the closing ceremony on the pier of St. Nicholas. King Carnival will surrender to the flames and through its ashes is expected to convey the message of rebirth and hope, while the city's sky will be lit up by thousands of fireworks.
The closing ceremony will begin with acrobatics by the Saltibagos team and the appearance of the télalis of the Patriotic Carnival, Maria Agouridis.
