PRESS RELEASE
«ALL TOGETHER, KYTHERA - ANTI-KYTHERA»
Simple Greek language lessons:
1) All over Greece Correspondent is something that is offered to you for a fee, and the cost of this is proportionate to the amount of the service that the citizen can make use of. I pay a service charge to have, for example, sewerage.
–In Kythira (according to the announcement of the Municipal Authority) is something you pay for whether or not the services are provided to you that you pay for. «Object» if you're being ripped off...
2) Throughout Greece the Water Services record the benefits that are linked in the sewerage networks.
-In Kythera, «an audit of the water supply properties was carried out, which lasted over 6 months and all the supplies were recorded in detail. are alleged to be connected in the old River drainage system». Watch out: After 6 months of testing, they're talking about utilities «allegedly» being connected...
Also after 6 months of mapping, no member of the Technical Service and the Water Service did not realize that in the settlement of Trifyllianika there is no sewerage system and that they had difficulty in recording because there were properties that are not obvious and self-evident their connection to the sewerage system.
3) All over Greece checks are carried out to find illegal connections (in drainage, water supply, electricity, etc.) and the competent authorities impose fines and disconnect the illegal .
-On Kythera (as indicated in the Municipality's IT) «have become many arbitrary connections without the knowledge of our service». So could arbitrary connections be made with the knowledge of your service? And what do you do?;
4) All over Greece when a mistake is made those responsible should apologise.
-In Kythera the Mayor «asks for the change»... It declares that «in no case does it impose unjust fees or charges on its citizens» and «anything else belongs to the realm of myth and slander»...
We are tired of denouncing the phenomena of arrogance and arrogance that characterize this particular Municipal Authority. But we did not expect them to arrive to refute facts that are widely known and self-evident, such as sending bills to unrelated properties.
This particular Municipal Authority can even claim that what the pipelines are pouring into Mauritia (those who don't know should ask the Potamites), is «smelling holy water»...
