A significant upgrade in the field of diagnostic services was announced by the General Hospital – Kythira Health Center “Trifyllio” announced a significant upgrade in the field of diagnostic services with the procurement and installation of two new, state-of-the-art medical devices for the Microbiology – Biochemistry Laboratory.
The first is a new generation hematology analyzer, which is already fully operational, allowing for faster results and offering high accuracy in hematology test parameters. According to the hospital's management, its use contributes significantly to improving the quality and speed of patient service.
The second device is a portable EPOC blood gas analyzer, which can perform 14 basic blood tests in a minimum amount of time. This system is considered essential for dealing with emergencies, as it allows doctors to obtain critical information about the patient's condition immediately, especially in the first few minutes after their arrival at the emergency room.
Finally, the Hospital Administration warmly thanked Ms. Toula Xintarakou for donating pillows for use by patients, emphasizing that the support of the local community is a valuable factor in the continuous improvement of health services provided on the island.
