The wine festival in Mitata was held with great success again this year, as it has been every second Saturday in August since 1982.
After a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus, “the barrels started spinning again,” with wine flowing freely throughout the night of August 13 and the party continuing into the early hours of Sunday morning.
The Mitata Beautification Association “Myrtia” is credited with the excellent organization of the event, while the local orchestra set the tone for an evening that will remain indelibly etched in the memory of all who experienced it.
